Tottenham Community Festival & Carnival Saturday 19^th Bruce Castle Park N17

With over 80,000 in attendance last year, this summer’s event is going to be a most spectacular affair.

We had a great set of performances from groups including X7 – Kalis – Up 2 Da Time – Kali – Dimensions – Camara, and who could forget Lutenents’ along with guest appearances from Marvel Crew – Noah – Frost-Matic – Tribal Man.With the event only weeks away, we’ve been hard at work putting together a fantastic programme for the day, which include an assortment of competitions, prizes and give-aways, to ensure London has another fabulous and memorable day.

Music will include Hip-Hop – Bashment – RnB  – Grime – Garage, with a number of PA’s lined up to keep the vibe alive. DJ Line up to be announced.

With the return of the open mic challenge, there’ll be plenty of variety on the day, including a climbing wall, Funfair, sports activities, and the every resourceful Youth Zone Information Hub

Already, we have confirmed a number of polished performances for the day, but you still have to get involved! So if you’re, or you know of a Singer – MC – Comedian –Poet – Dance Troupe – Rappers or a person of Talent this is your chance to join the line up.

We’ll be holding FINAL AUDITIONS on June 9^th & 16^th  at People’s World Carnival Band Mass Camp between 5:30PM and 8:00PM

With only TWENTY PLACES AVAILABLE competitions going to be tight, so make sure you arrive early!

So, whatever you’re doing this summer, make sure you keep JUNE 19^th free in your diary, as the 2010 Tottenham Community Festival & Carnival is going to be banging.

Listen up folks. The date for your diaries is Saturday 20^th June, as all roads lead to the historical grounds of Bruce Castle Park in north London, where YESS will deliver another slamtastic showcase, as part of the Tottenham Festival & Carnival.

Last year, over sixty thousand people attended what is reported as one of our best festivals ever, with outstanding performances from London’s’ finest up and coming artists.

This summer, audiences will be treated to an entertainment feast, as over forty acts deliver an exciting variety of back to back performances, from Street dance to Belly Dance, Rap to Comedy, MCing to Unplugged Musicians.

And with a mix of competitions, give-aways, upfront music, and surprise PA’s this event is going to be nothing less than sensational.

Along side the performances, we have a selection of activities for everyone to enjoy, including 2:2 basketball and soccer skills, a climbing tower, an Arts & Careers forum, live music and a funfair. With food and refreshments available on site, you and your family are guaranteed a fantastic day out.
